FRAMATOME CANADA LIMITED

Engineers employed by Framatome Canada Limited in Kincardine are the newest members of the Society of United Professionals. They voted to unionize in November of 2024.

Framatome Canada is a major provider of services and engineering for the Canadian and global CANDU market. Framatome Canada has about 140 Canadian employees who work alongside many Society members at Bruce Power, OPG, and Kinectrics. There are 3 Framatome office locations in Canada: Kincardine, Pickering, Montreal.

This new bargaining unit joins our Bruce Power Local as a composite group. Our union is growing, and the Society is always looking for opportunities to speak with non-unionized professionals who are thinking about joining a union. Especially with the current growth in the sector and in Bruce County in particular - we are looking for more opportunities to speak with professionals interested in unionizing. As a Society member, you are able to connect non-unionized professionals with an Organizer.
